You should ring them on the Customer Helpline.
The number will be on your last BT bill you have received.
They will change the password and email address for you.

Changing the password should be possible from the Yahoo! webmail options screen after you log in at uk.yahoo.com/mail This may affect your internet access as your email/password need to be set on your router (if you have one) to log you in to BT's internet services.
Set up a seperate Yahoo! Mail account, or Google Mail account, or Live Mail account or whatever and leave the BT one alone, or at least just for managing your account. This means that should you change from BT to, say, Virgin, you still have the same email address and don't have to tell everybody you've changed it.
