Changing email address on my space? it wont let my son do it?

son has myspace profile and can do everything except chat!! he typed .net instead of .com and when he tries to change it they wont let him. any suggestions. he doesnt want to set the whole thing up again.Changing email address on my space? it wont let my son do it?unfortunately if you entered the wrong email address in the beginning its set to that email address. and you can not change it unless you have access to that email.



myspace as a special a way to change the email address in cases like this. you'll have to message tom or email myspace support and tell them about the issue they will request you to take a picture of your son with his myspace url and friend ID, this will prove to myspace that the owner is the official owner, and in the message tell them the new email address.

welcome to my mspace ...Changing email address on my space? it wont let my son do it?Well I just changed mine the other day. I think if you go to the account settings where you change the password and uhm request the confirmation then it sends it to the new address. Then you use log onto which ever the new address is and confirm it. I don't think you need to access the old email.
