I been getting bulk mail is there a way to stop this without changing my email address?

%26gt;In Yahoo Mail %26quot;which is what I use%26quot; I don't think you can stop spam.I have tried. At least they put it in the Bulk folder and messages in your Bulk folder do not count toward your mailbox storage quota. You can delete them if you want or Yahoo will automatically delete them after thirty days. You are supposed to be able to unsubscribe but it didn't work for me.The more I unsubscribed the more I got.Changing your email address is probably the only way to stop it,and then only for a short while.I been getting bulk mail is there a way to stop this without changing my email address?I think people get bulk mails mostly by subscribing to different newsletters which u usually dont read. So unsubscribe them. Or if u get bulk mails form common address then just put them in block senders list.

hope this will help u.I been getting bulk mail is there a way to stop this without changing my email address?Everytime you receive bulk mails %26amp; the senders are unknown to you, just delete them from your e-mail account. I guess this is the simplest %26amp; practical thing to do.I been getting bulk mail is there a way to stop this without changing my email address?Stop subscribing to online newsletters and giving personal information (in other words, %26quot;registering%26quot;) at commercial websites (and I'm not only referring to porn). If you must do this, establish a separate email account and give that address when u sign up for contests, product updates, etc. I would be willing to bet that the sites most guilty of passing your email address along are sites like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Gateway, Dell, etc. Next most guilty are online merchants like Victoria's Secret, Land's End, Carnival Cruises, etc.

Also, what a previous poster said about unsubscribing is true--when you %26quot;unsubscribe,%26quot; you are merely confirming that your email address is valid--thus inviting more spam.I been getting bulk mail is there a way to stop this without changing my email address? If you are using Outlook or Eudora as your email program there is a GREAT and inexpensive program available called..... SpamSubtract that allows you to accept mails you want.... as well as autodelte mails containing ANY words you want.
